Tina E. Poley graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with a certificate in Governmental Affairs. While in law school, Ms. Poley was on the Moot Court team and wrote for the California Initiative Review. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the Sacramento County Bar, SacLEGAL, and the California Public Defenders Association.

Ms. Poley earned her undergraduate degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University, with a certificate in International Tourism. She grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, but now makes her home in Sacramento.
